null+ in Luzern
July 16. 2024, Luzern (Switzerland)
At the null+ performance in Luzern, held in the staircase of HSLU, we explored the concept of levels by suspending fish strings from one of the upper floors, creating a vertical soundscape. Several strings were attached: two directly from the Campanula, one from the snare drum, and three additional strings that linked both instruments together. From above, we had six strings to work with, each creating different resonances. Without any prearranged structure, we improvised in the moment, deciding spontaneously which strings to play.
