null+ in Takayama

In Takayama we had the opportunity to build our set-up in our stay-in lodge. We played for the owner and other guests.
Using the space and all it's corners we've connected the same fish string to different points of the room (this idea became and inspiration for our last set-up in Nagoya). As the fish string gets tidier we used the centre of the room to connect our fish strings (attached to our instruments). This was a new approach, as in our previous performances we used metal rings to connect the strings, given metal’s good sound conductivity. Using just the strings was also very revealing, as the space resonated along and we could also play with them before approaching our instruments. This performance had the duration of 30 minutes and we started playing with the net installation, finishing with our usual improvised part using our instruments.
