In this concert the space was also a bit tiny. The audience chairs were originally placed in front of the stage, but we decided to change the arrangement by moving the chairs to the right and left sides making the space more comfortable and offer the audience a closer experience of the sound.
The first part of the concert featured Miki Naoe, a Japanese shortwave radio player, whose performance explored the sounds of radio frequencies, blending static, interference, and distant broadcasts with the use of amplification and pedals. After the break, it was our turn. This time the set-up was simpler : Snare Drum (Objects) - connected with fish strings to the Campanula (strings). The intonation was the same as the previous concert, the campanula is tuned with the main tone of the snare drum and the sympathetic strings in different combinations. After the break we played a set with Miki Naoe, blending both electronics, Miki's mastering the radio frequencies and our instruments.
